Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 pieces of chicken
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ½-⅔ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

Sauce

  • cups ketchup
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup Apple Cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350℉
  • Place chicken in plastic bag.
  • Pour buttermilk over the chicken.
  • Shake bag making sure chicken is evenly coated.
  • Add salt and flour. Shake again, evenly coating chicken.
  • Pour enough sauce into the bottom of a baking dish or cast iron skillet to lightly coat the bottom.
  • Add the chicken skin side up. Pour remaining sauce over the chicken.
  • Bake for 1 hour or until chicken reaches 160-165℉.
  • Let chicken rest before serving. Garnish with green onion tops if desired.
